The summer of 2000 my family and I went to Tunisia. Tunisia is one of the richest countries in the world when it comes to surviving ancient sites, and only surpassed by Pompeii in the quality of its mosaics. We visited the sites of Bulla Regia, Carthage, Dougga, and El DJem and visited The Bardo Museum (the national museum in Tunis) and the Museum of Sousse.
